Supermarket

In 1996 Supermarket was founded and at that time, Hu Miao Yu participated in the band.

On January 1st, 1997, the band is officially established as a more electro-focussed band by Yu San 羽傘（Vo&G）, Zhu Yu Hang 朱宇航（DJ&Vo） and Wang Yong 王勇（DJ&Dr）. The same year they also signed a contract with Modern Sky Records.

In April, 1998, their record The Look is released and received very good critics from "Audio and Video World" Magazine and the "South Metropolis Newspaper", calling it one of the Top 10 records of this year. The same month, their song 假若今夜来临 is included in the compilation record Modern Sky 1 (VA). On May 30th, 1998, they performed in the NASA Disco. On December 20th, they performed at the X2000音楽会 music event. December 24th, they rocked the Garage Bar. In December their song 芒果也忧伤 is included in the compilation record Modern Sky 2 (VA).

On the last day of the year 1999, December 31st, Supermarket releases their second album called Seven kind of Weapons. On September 12th, they performed at a rave party in Kunming.

Due to the good support of Modern Sky Records, Supermarket extends their contract in 2000 and records the song Room , which appears on Modern Sky's fourth compilation.

In June 2002, their song 房間 is included in the compilation record Modern Sky 4 (VA). In July they renewed their contract with Modern Sky. On July 26th, they rocked the CD Cafe in Beijing. On August 3rd, they performed at the 亮点長城 event in 金山嶺長城. In December, their third record called Laser Age - Laser Time is released.

On January 4th, 2003, they performed in Shanghai's 音楽倉, at that time, due to an illness, 朱宇航 could not participate. On March 27th, they performed in the CD Cafe. On September 19th, they performed in Suzhou's 西街酒廊. On September 20th and 21st they rocked Shanghai's The Ark in Xin Tian Di. At that gig, it was not Wang Yong playing but someone new. September 27th, they rocked the 亮点長城≪第二輯≫音楽節 music festival in 金山嶺長城. October 6th, they performed in the Get Lucky Bar. October 9th, they rocked the 音域 bar in Hangzhou. October 12 they performed in Guangzhou's Solo Bar. Wang Yong also participated at that gig. December 3rd to 7th, they took part in the Transmusicales Music Festival in France. December 18th, they performed in the 仁倶楽部.

After performing in the Chinese-British Music Festival in Shanghai, Supermarket releases their fourth CD Prosperous in 2004.

In July 2005 their song The Sky is included in the Modern Sky iPod Shuffle Special Edition (VA).

Further in December 2008, their song 恐怖的房子 is included in the X-Music Magazine no. 379.

August 8th 2009, they performed during the InMusic Festival 2009 on the Zhangbei Grasslands on the Main Stage.

October 20th, they are interviewed by Louder.cn in Shanghai.

On May 3rd, 2010, they performed at the Midi Music Festival 2010.
