Essential member of electronic music project Panda Twin.
One of the key musician of Chinese new electronic music generation, and also he been the first wave giving up classical Rock then to be a musician of electronic music; Involved with the initiating and producing of quite a few primary inland electronic music compilations, composes for movies and dramas. His music style includes IDM, LAPTOP, etc.
In 1997 he began to play guitar. Next year he entered the Art School of Shenyang Conservatory of Music Univ.. One year after he moved to Beijing . Formed and played in bands like "XiGuan" (in Chinese it's like pipe or siphon), "Underground Baby", wrote songs and had live shows.
Since the year 2000 he began to compose electronic music, next year a track that named 《Doctrine Dark vs Skullomania》 was included in the electronic compilation album "Far East Digital Hardcore Compilation Vol.1"
In 2002, he joined in the Modern Sky Records's electronic music publishing project and released his first album "Air Inhibition of Water" by a.k.a SULUMI. The music in this album came with extremely great personal inclination as well as to conform to the main ideal of the company's program, Chill Out sytle series Club music. By this album, got nominated of the best electronic music artist by the major music annual award of the mainland China "China Musical Medium Award" founded by many mainstream entertainment medium companies.
In Dec. 2002, he founded a electronic music label called Shan Shui Records , and published the label's first compilation album Landscape (VA). This compilation album includes many tracks of famous electronic musicians from Hong Kong, China and Japan and new generation of electronic musicians. In Nov. 2003, he was invited to the biggest electronic music festival in China "SOUNDING BEIJING 2003 - International Electronic Music Festival". In Jun. 2004, he performed live with Four Tet, World's End Girlfriend, Piana, etc."Digital Ox-Warehouse Festival 2004, Macau" at Old Ladies House Art Space studio. In September, he initiated and joined in electronic music compilation "Charming Playlist". In November, he appeared on the US electronic music magazine "Groove".

In May 2009, Sulumi is voted the no. 7 coolest rock star in Beijing by Timeout Beijing Magazine. It takes real gumption to amble onto a stage in front of hundreds of people with little more than a Game Boy, but Sulumi manages to create music that stands up no matter what it’s played on, and rock out while he’s at it.
