Fly Fast Records is the first record label in Europe exclusively devoted to punk, rock and folk music from Asia. We release records from bands and musicians from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and India. Fly Fast sticks up for Asian punk and rock music to make it more popular in Europe and thereby initiate intercultural exchange.

Fly Fast Records are George Lindt and Susanne Messmer. George Lindt, TV journalist and novelist, has founded his first record label at the age of 17 and since eight years has been running the label Lieblingslied Records. Susanne Messmer is currently working as a music journalist. Before she has been working for four years as an editor for the cultural department of DIE TAGESZEITUNG, a Berlin daily newspaper, and has been reporting from Beijing and Berlin
Their documentary film "Beijing Bubbles - Punk and Rock in China's Capital" is distributed by Kloos & Co. Medien GmbH and Edition Salzgeber and was released in April 2007 in cinemas in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2006 Beijing Bubbles was screened on more than 20 international film festivals, in cultural institutions like the House Of World Cultures in Berlin or the Centre for arts and media technology ZKM in Karlsruhe and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. With their documentary George Lindt and Susanne Messmer are deeply immersed into the independent music scene in China. With their work and during several research trips to Asia they got in touch with musicians from many Asian countries.
