Wang Shengnan (王胜男) is a folk singer-songwriter with her heart on her sleeve. Using a name that defies her delicate feminine features, her songs are deep and thoughtful at the same time light and feathery in sound. She keeps in touch with her fans and never seems to fault them; her sensible nature has made many girls feel affinity with this strong woman in the Beijing indie folk scene.
On May 3rd, 2010, she performed at the Midi Music Festival 2010.
