History

Formed in the beginning of 1992.

One of China's oldest metal bands, Tomahawk started playing death metal and changed their style to new death / new metal.

Tomahawk had been interviewed by the Painkiller Heavy Music Magazine, published Painkiller #2.

In 1996, Zhu Zheng Li joins as drummer. Further in 1996, they perform during the Dam festival, get recorded by Channel [V] for their show 飆音地帯 and they stop their activities until 1998.

In 2001, they sign a contract with the 北京西部文化娯楽公司 company. April 7th, they performed in the 開心楽園 bar. In May, their first record Dead City is released by Scream Records. In June, they rocked the Ger Lucky Bar. September 19th they performed in the 奥林匹克体育中心体育館 during the 中国揺滾生力軍楽隊比賽総決賽 event. December 16th - 18th, they performed in Shenzhen.

Early 2002, 劉曉康 leaves the band. March 22nd, they perform in the Get Lucky Bar. May 1st they perform in Shenzhen's 三原色 bar. Further in May, they performed in Zhuhai, Guangdong. June 22nd, they performed together with Yaksa and Cankered Corpse in Xi'an on the 大雁塔広場駐車場 square (Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square). Later that year, Zhang Xin Wei (Bass) joined the band. October 31st, they performed during the Halloween show in the CD Cafe. December 25th they performed in the Get Lucky Bar during the 2002年度聖誕節狂歓夜 concert.

2003, March 5th, they performed during a live charity for Sun Shu at the New Get Lucky bar. During that time Jiang Yi Hui joined on the beyboards. August 22nd, they performed in the Chaoyang park during the 非主流音楽節 festivalities. In the same month they also performed in the New Get Lucky bar. October 3rd they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2003. October 31st they performed in the New Get Lucky bar during their Halloweeen concert.

2004, April 28th, they performed in the New Get Lucky Bar during the Memorial Kurt Cobain concert in Beijing. October 3rd, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2004.

July 29th 2005, they performed in Chongqing's 大田湾体育場 during the 大田湾[口卑]酒節 festival. On October 2nd 2005, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2005.
