History
Formerly known as Cloth Melon (布瓜)
The name Me Guan Me (Me 灌 me) is a combination of the English term of oneself and the Chinese term of "fill up someone with alcohol", thuse the motto of the band would be "let's fill up ourselves". This young band started their own mix between punk, garage and psycadelic rock where they stick to the lead of the melody in their music. After many years of being active as a band, they finally decided to enter Beijing's underground rock scene in 2009 and flooded all regular rock venues with their live performance. By now they already gained their own fan base.

the me guan me's (me灌me合唱团) is a four-piece indie rock band in Beijing. Having gone through a few member reassignments during the early stages of the band in 2004, they have settled to become a solid four-person band, having participated together in competitions (winning the 887 Award in the Beijing Pop Festival Competition). Their music is simple, lo-fi, and powerful, containing a strong inner power and expressing their emotions through music.
Translated from Yaogun.com:
In 2009, the band was renamed from Cloth Melon (布瓜) to Me Guan Me, the actual members are: Xiao Wang (Vo) · Wang Fei (G) · Li Hengsi (B) · Liu Chang (Dr).
