Xie Heng as the core member had to find new musicians.

In 2005 The Barque of Dante had the most complete line-up. The members at this time were: vocalist / rhythm guitar: Xie Zhiheng, vocalist / guitar: Wang Hongyu, bass: Hui Deng; drums: Wang Lei. In the same year in December, The Barque of Dante performed live in Mianyang in the LOW bar. After the guitarist Wang Hongyu left the band, they once again became a studio band.

In 2006, The Barque of Dante recorded a new single, "Sing for You"

In 2007, The Barque of Dante began to record a new album.

In 2008, The Barque of Dante came in contact with the underground label Hell Summons Productions and re-released their demo Paean for Hero with two bonus tracks consisting of the single "Sing for You" and song "Farewell" from 2008.

At the time the recording of the new album was nearly finished the big earthquake in Sichuan occurred in 512. The Barque of Dante was located in Mianyang, where the damage was very high. Studio computers and recording equipment was damaged and informations of the unfinished recording was also missing. Even the record studio suffered from danger of collapse. The whole work was all for nothing, but the band had an iron will and started from scratch.

In August 2008 in Mianyang, The Barque of Dante started their recordings again. Although the recording was often followed by aftershocks which destroyed the end result, the band finally completed the recording of the album. The album was named Final Victory.
