History

In Beijing, March 2002, the Grinding Brutal Death Metal band Regicide came into being. Inspired by new school of brutal death/grind bands such as DISGORGE, DEVOURMENT and BRODEQUIN, the four freaks are addicted to gore and horror. Music in their mind is mu-sick indeed and there is no escape from this brutal and morbid womb. Prepare to be drown in blood, throttled by gut, and dismembered by these rippers. The band was formed by 鄭勇（G）, 張磊（B）, 呉剛（Dr）, 許允爲(G) and 庄雨. On May 18th, they performed in the Get Lucky Bar during the release celebration of Hades record. May 31st they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. On July 27th, they rocked the Get Lucky Bar during the release celebration for the 5th Painkiller Magazine. Later that year, both 鄭勇 and 許允爲 leave the band and Peng Wu (呉鵬) joins on the guitars.

January 24th, 2003, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. February 22nd, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. In March they are included in the compilation record Resurrection of the Gods II (VA). March 15th, they performed in the Get Lucky Bar for the release of Ritual Day's record Sky Lake and the Resurrection of the Gods II compilation. On March 30th, they performed in the Get Lucky Bar during the 北京重金属勢力音楽節 event. In June they signed a contract with Mort Productions for production of a split CD. On June 20th, 2003, Regicide's interview with the Painkiller Heavy Music Magazine was published in their Painkiller Magazine no. 7. July 12th they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. September 13th they rocked Tianjin's 金夜 bar. September 28th, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. November 1st, they performed during the metal halloween party. November 29th, they performed at the GeT Lucky Bar thereby releasing their split CD Split Your Face (VA). At the end of the year, they officially signed with Mort Productions.

January 17th, 2004, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar. February 20th, they rocked the Nameless Highland. March 13th, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar's 金属饕［殄/食］之夜 event. March 28th, they rocked the New Get Lucky Bar during their 参月参拾京津唐重型音楽節 event. April 3rd, they performed at Tianjin's 越野風暴店. April 24th, they performed at the Get Lucky Bar's 2nd 金属饕［殄/食］之夜 event. May 2nd they rocked the New Get Lucky Bar. May 4th, they performed at the Old Get Lucky Bar. In June 呉鵬 leaves the band and 毛亮 (Nether Flute) (guitars) and 陸達 (Drums & Percussion) join. June 13th, they performed at the New Get Lucky Bar. Then they started a tour called China Runs Blood officially with a gig on July 10th in the Nameless Highland. August 14th, they performed in Zhengzhou's 珠江演義庁. August 15th, they performed at Xi'ans 金碧輝煌KTV歌城. September 25th, they performed at Tangshan's Player Club. October 17th, they rocked Harbin's 哈爾濱話劇院 during the 哈爾濱新音楽芸術節. At that time, 梅明陽 also participated in Regicide as guitarist. At the end of the Harbin gig, 梅明陽 left the band and 毛亮 returned. December 11th, they performed at Shanghai's Fusion bar. In December the compilation record China runs Blood (VA) is finally released. December 17th, they performed at the Yun Meng bar. December 31st they rocked the 13 Club.

January 22nd, 2005, they performed at the 13 Club. Later that year 何岩 joined as drummer. September 3rd, they performed at Shanghai's The Ark during the 衆神復活 tour. The same day(?) they performed at Suzhou's 後街酒. September 23rd, they rocked the Nameless Highland during the celebration party for the fifth anniversary of the Painkiller Magazine. In October recording started on their first record with 庄雨（Vo）, 毛亮（G）, 張磊（B） and 王亞楠（Dr） on the lineup.

In February 2006, their record was supposed to be released, however the band announced their break up. In December their song 腐刑 is included in selected versions of the Resurrection of the Gods III (VA) compilation.

March 10th, 2007, their record Extreme Intent Fatal Effect is released.

On May 1st, 2009, the compilation record Resurrection of the Gods 6 (VA) is released which contains the song Spiritual immolated by Regicide.
