History

Dongzi is one of the active singers in the so called Chinese indie folk (民谣, a mix of Chinese folklore in a modern unplugged music approche) scene. In his late 30ies, he has gone through a lot in his life, has been soldier, done all kind of different jobs including selling rice etc., and all his collection of emotions, memories and pain flow into is music whic often also combine north western ethic and han chinese folk elements in it.

Dongzi has been participating on Midi Festival and all kind of indoor folk/unplugged shows very often.
