History
Not to be confused with the hip hop artist Haozi.
Chen Hao was born in 1984 in Yuncheng 运城, Shanxi Province. He came to Beijing in 2003 to study at the Beijing Clothing Institute 北京服装学院 and won the song contest of his university. Later he participated and won many competitions for new comers and song writers and even took part on the CCTY-2 olympic song "Forever Friends", shortly after he released his debut out put "Foreign Land" EP (异国) in 2007, followed by a single "Karamay" (克拉玛依).
The band of Hao Zi consists of Chen Hao himself and his friends. He is a new folk singer, singing with deep emotions and melodies. His works are mainly themed with mysterious frontiers and foreign lands. He is often on touring the country as well.
