Introduction by the band
Hi everyone. We’re Bad Dream (坏梦想). Bad Dream, the band, was initially established in the spring of 2003. At that time the members included Pang Bo (Drums), Zhang Wei (Bass) and Yan Yue Yang (Vocals).
After a period of rehearsals, guitarist Guo Feng was invited to join the band in the fall of 2003. This is because the drummer Pang Bo left the band in 2004.
In April 2004, Liu Jia (Drums) and Li Ang (Guitar) entered the band. At that time the band’s style was pop-punk.
In fall 2004 Liu Jia, Li Ang and Zhang Wei left the band. After that the band stopped rehearsing for three months. At that time, Yan Yue Yang thought about ending the band, but ultimately he decided to go on. The band found new musicians in summer 2005. Bass: Lv Xin. Drums: Liu Lian Guitar: Zheng Shi Wei. After some rehearsing, the band successfully changed into a Punk-Metal band. In October 2005, the band was in a series of performances. On November 25 the band traveled to Shanghai to participate in China’s regionals for the Yamaha’s Asian Beat Band Competition. The band received high marks. After returning to Bejing, Bad Dream had the opportunity to perform with Food Drunk Gang (饭醉团伙). In February 2006 Liu Lian (Drums) quit the band, and the new drummer that arrived in midsummer helped the band mature and improve its sound. The average age of the band members is under 20, but the band has had at least 100 performances, and it has a wealth of experience. On stage, the band has a great stage presence and its sound is infectious. In 2006, Zheng Shi Wei quit the band due to personal reasons. But the band will continue to play.

Biographies
Singer: Yan Yue Yang. Birthplace: Beijing. Age: 20. Previously performed with Silence on bass.
Guitar: Guo Feng. Birthplace: Fushun, Liaoning province. Age: 18. At age 3 and a half he started playing piano, and at age 14 he started playing guitar. He plays with rich feeling.
Bass: Lv Xin. Birthplace: Tianjin. Age: 20. At 18 he started playing bass. His bass playing is solid.
Drums: Zhong Xia Birthplace: Changchun, Jilin province. Age: 22.

November 2005: Bad Dream was invited to Datong to participate in the Christmas Party night activities
December 2005: Bad Dream officially began cooperating and rehearsing with Beijing's Food Drunk Gang 《饭醉团伙》
March 2006: Participated in Food Drunk Gang’s first annual commerative performance; the band’s work “I thought you weren’t far away” 《以为你没走远》was featured in their limited edition EP.
May 2006: Participated in Food Drunk Gang’s large open-air music festival
June 2006:Invited to participate in a news conference on the website, TVix.cn, was interviewed by cool guests.
June 30 2006: Participated in a music performance remembering Beyond
July 2006: Recorded their first EP in the recording studio
August 2006: The band participated in the Khaki 卡其社vs Food Drunk Gang decisive battle live performance; participated in the Save the Ground Network Benefit Concert; received an invitation to participate in the China Feeling first showing
September 2006: Received an invitation to perform at Beijing television’s “Who says so” program.
October 2006: participated in World’s Top Bands in China, 10th trial; participated in the Remembering Halloween 10th Annual Performance; participated in China Feeling Tour in Xi’An
November 2006: Won first place at Levi’s National College Rock Band Competition
December 2006: Released a debut EP, was invited to perform in the new popular Lucky Bar every Friday
